For students and health professionals, it can be daunting to challenge existing structures of power relations even if and when such resistance might contribute to more ethical practice and settings.
Creative assignments can offer an outlet to express otherwise hard-to-convey messages. For example, some students and health professionals have used media like poetry, theatre, and visual art to reveal systemic issues and/or advocate for change.
